So many people want to know how I came to have my own website. Some people want to know more about my life. Unfortunately, as I have been so busy, I haven't got the time to write all the details. I have come up with a plan though! Using AI (artificial intelligence) software,  I have created several documents that tell parts of my story. The chatbot got some of the facts right but some of the details not true. You will have to make up your own mind!

Enjoy!

Tutter de Mouse, creator and star of Maths with a Mouse

Here we go...

Lets begin by considering where it all began. FYI, most of this story is actually true!

The Origin of Maths with a Mouse: A Journey through Lockdown

Tutter, a curious blue mouse,  loved to explore and learn new things. When the lockdown started in 2020 and the world was forced to adapt to remote learning, Tutter saw an opportunity to use his love of maths to help others.

He soon realised that many children were struggling with maths during remote learning. He also knew that online learning was becoming the new norm, so he decided to create an online maths lessons that were fun, engaging, and accessible to everyone.

Drawing inspiration from his own experiences of maths and his love of games, Tutter spent hours researching and developing his lessons. He used colourful graphics and interactive exercises to help students understand complex mathematical concepts in a more visual and engaging way.

Tutter's lessons quickly gained popularity, with students from all over the world logging on to learn from the clever little mouse. He was delighted to see the positive impact his lessons were having on students, and he was always available to answer questions and provide feedback.

As his lessons became more popular, Tutter started to receive requests for personalised tutoring. He was initially hesitant, but he soon realised that many students were struggling with specific areas of maths that they needed extra help so the thoughtful little mouse began to offer one-on-one tutoring sessions, tailoring his teaching approach to each student's individual needs.

Tutter's personalised tutoring was a huge success, and he quickly became known as one of the best maths tutors in the online learning world. He was even invited to speak at conferences and share his expertise with other educators.

Despite his success, Tutter never lost sight of his original goal – to help children learn and enjoy maths. He continued to develop his inspirational lessons and offer personalised tutoring to anyone who needed it, always striving to make maths accessible and fun for everyone.

As the world slowly returned to some sense of normality, Tutter's online lessons continued to thrive. Students from all over the world continued to learn from the clever little mouse, and Tutter's love of maths continued to inspire and educate generations to come.

During that challenging time, I recieved many great comments and even some really inspiring letters...

(The letters are based on real experiences of pupils!)

Dear Tutter,

Your lessons were so engaging and easy to understand. The colourful graphics and interactive exercises helped me understand complex mathematical concepts in a more visual and engaging way. I also appreciated the personal attention you gave me during our tutoring sessions. Your patient and encouraging teaching approach helped me build confidence and overcome my fear of maths.

Thanks to your lessons and tutoring sessions, I was able to keep up with my maths studies and even improve my grades. I am now more confident in my mathematical abilities and have developed a love for the subject.

In late February 2023, there was a particularly significant personal moment. I don't normally allow my diary to be read but this was a special time I was willing to share...

Dear Diary,

Today was a big day for me. I finally launched my website,  Maths with a Mouse. It's been a long time coming, and I'm so excited to see where this new adventure takes me.

I've always had a passion for maths, but I know that not everyone shares my enthusiasm. That's why I created this website - to make maths fun and accessible for everyone. I want to help students all over the world learn the joy of mathematics, and to show them that it's not just about numbers and formulas, but about exploring the world around us.

I spent countless hours designing and building the website, and it's been a labour of love. I poured all of my creativity and passion into every aspect of it, from the colourful graphics to the lively videos. I want students to feel like they're learning with a friend, and not just another faceless online resource.

Launching the website was nerve-wracking, but I was overwhelmed by the positive response from children and adults alike. Within hours of the launch, my inbox was flooded with messages from students thanking me for making maths fun and easy to understand. It was such a rewarding feeling to know that my hard work was making a difference in people's lives.

I know that there's still a long way to go in terms of making maths education more engaging and accessible for everyone, but I'm excited to be a part of the movement. I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, and I'm committed to helping them achieve their full potential.

Here's to a new chapter in my journey as a maths teacher. I can't wait to see what's next.

Yours truly,

Tutter
