Some maths games focus on one particular skill, others tackle several at the same time and then there are those maths games that can be used for a vast array of mental maths skills. These are the few who offer so many options, that can be used in so many ways. All you need to do two things:

Brie-Anna de Mouse, star of Maths with a Mouse

Nothing but net! The crowd goes wild! Shot Clock by roomrecess.com is a great maths game and my favourite aspect is that even if you know the correct answer, it is still possible to miss the shot and to retake it again. Not all maths games include that aspect. Good job, roomrecess.com

Parachute Multiplication is great fun and, occasionally, infuriating! Not only do you need to calculate, you also need to locate the position on a number line and hope that you can accurately land in the corect spot!

Ha ha! Look at those silly cats fighting over the sausages! Although this game is quite simplistic, I find it hilarious, just watching those cats, tussle over a big string of sausages!

When choosing your level, don’t worry about which number it is as they relate to the grade system in the USA and, in the higher numbers, some of the skills aren’t necessarily ideal for mental maths games. Most of all, enjoy laughing at those stupid cats in Cat Wars! Mice rule; cats drool!

In my Game Time Review for Cat Wars, I have some extra thoughts to share which will help you to enjoy the game even more!
